Petals to WORLD is a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting financially disadvantaged children with special needs in Sri Lanka.

The initiative partners directly with Teddy’s Castle Special Need School (www.teddyscastle.lk), an established institution with over 10 years of experience in special education and therapeutic intervention. Through this collaboration, Petals to WORLD identifies eligible underprivileged children and sponsors their education, therapy, and social development programs.

Background & Need

In Sri Lanka, many children diagnosed with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Learning Difficulties are unable to access quality special education due to financial hardship.
The early intervention is critical. Without proper education and therapy:
Communication skills decline, Social development is delayed, Independence becomes harder to achieve, Families experience emotional and financial crisis.
Many parents are willing but financially incapable of providing structured support.
Petals to WORLD exist to bridge this gap — ensuring that poverty does not determine a child’s developmental future.
