In the coming weeks, we will be visiting Ape Lamai Special Education School for a special day filled with sensory activities, creative activities, learning, and fun for the children.
For this program, we are collecting essential items for the children and the school.

On the 2nd of October "Petals to WORLD" fully sponsored another fruitful program for the special needs unit at the Divisional Secretariate of Mawanella, where we were able to conduct special programs and activities for various special needs children there and with a good food for all of them. Again Teddy's Castle Special Needs School was so helpful to conduct this event successfully. There was a special educational program for the parents as well.

On the 1st of October 2026 World Children's Day Program was celebrated at
Special Needs Unit of St. Anthony's College-Kandy

With the support of Teddy's Castle Special Need School we were able to do few
activities for those children.

On 27th Sep 2026 a Feeding Program for Learning Difficulty Children of very poor community was held in Haragama (Fully Sponsored By "Petals to WORLD") and it was a heart touching event. The children were so happy and enjoyed the meal.

Another successful training program was held in Gampaha for the special needs teachers and shadow teachers and this program was fully sponsored by "Petals to WORLD" and the program was led by Teddy's Castle Special Need School under the leadership of Mrs. Gayani Champika on 19th Sep 2026.

Petals to WORLD has taken another unique step towards empowering the parents, teachers, shadow teachers, and caregivers of children with special needs through online education.
With the valuable support and expertise of Mrs. Gayani Champika of Teddy’s Castle Special Needs School, we have launched a dedicated online learning program held every Friday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
This initiative aims to provide practical knowledge, guidance, and effective strategies to those who care for and educate children with special needs. Many parents, teachers, and caregivers are already benefiting from this valuable program, gaining greater confidence and understanding in supporting these children.
